SMOKE RITUAL AT THE SAUNATEMPPELI

The Smoke Ritual held at the Sauna Temple leads participants into a mystical state, allowing each bather to deepen their own personal sauna experience, accompanied by occasional veils of resinous smoke.

During the hour-long ritual, Temple’s Matti takes care of the steam and atmosphere. The mood is enhanced with sauna chants and smoke veils. No speaking takes place during the ritual — the focus is on experiencing ancient sacredness and silence.
